It would be great if more mainstream stores sold eco-friendly clothes. These days everybody seems to be trying to do something good for the environment and my family is no exception. So I shouldn’t have been surprised when my wife decided to extend our efforts to our clothes. She decided to find some eco-friendly outfits. I have to say that it is a good thing that my wife loves to shop online because it seems that right now, at least, this is the best way to buy eco-friendly clothes. She found a site that she really likes http://www.luxgreenliving.com, which sells really beautiful, fashionable, modern looking clothing made from organic cotton at very reasonable prices. So far the website only sells female clothes, so men might have to look somewhere else. But if you are looking for a present for your wife, your girlfriend, or your mother I certainly would recommend it.

I noticed that whenever Target has a featured designer they tend to focus more on the Jr market. This seems to also be true at places like WalMart who started carrying greener type clothing but they’re limited to Jr Tees with messages like ‘Save the Earth. It’s the only one with malls.’ Hmmm….I’d love to see purse friendly green clothing for the hipper mama but not necessarily fashion diva set. Thanks for the post.

H & M has also quietly come up with an organic line of affordable clothing too. Other than thrifting, these will be best bets for my family, my budget and my green-ness. Thanks for the post.
