I acquired the Penguin this past summer (love the glass carafes rather than plastic bottles) and used it day after day.
Sometimes I use the Soda Club flavor essence, which comes in small glass bottles, but often no flavoring at all. I am not a fan of sweet sodas so don’t need syrups.

I use baking extracts to flavor the seltzer. No sugar. I tell everyone to get one of these.
