Marilyn, Get in touch with Environmental Working Group at ewg.org. They maintain a Safe Cosmetic Data Base where you can find all sorts of lead-free lipsticks.

I recently did a post on Bath and Body works and was shocked to find that there is no regulation of bath and beauty products even though they are being absorbed directly into our bodies!
