Thanks, Jill. I’m a big fan of making your own where possible (like yogurt) and buying milk in glass bottles, which I can do in some grocery stores and my food co-op. It will be interesting to see how the food packaging industry adapts to people’s desire for less plastic and more glass.

These are but a few of the products that we purchase regularly that come in plastic. And worse news. Our city collections have been doing recycling pick of for many years now. They recently announced that they will no longer be including glass bottles, jars, etc. in our weekly city recycling pick up. (The good news is that we can go back to our “olden days” and take them to a place ourselves)
