In reply to Karen. I've used a variety of traps, and even though you'll still get a few mosquitoes, the traps really do help reduce populations overall.

In reply to Karen. The beauty of a trap is that it doesn't contaminate the environment. And because the water in the trap evaporates, the environment really remains protected.

In reply to Karen. I agree. Trapping skeeters rather than zapping them makes a lot of sense - it's the least toxic way to reduce their numbers.

I NEED this Diane. I’m being eaten alive when I go to my backyard to harvest from the raised beds. Love that I don’t have to spray!

I love this idea!
My only concern is if it gets into the ground water and gets into the ocean will it kill off Lobsters? We live on the coast of Maine and my husband is a lobster fisherman.
This has been a concern with other types of mosquito control!
Our family tries to be responsible for our environmental impact!
We have yet to come up with a way to reduce the mosquito population on our property.
